Curently (and during last 6 years) I am working as Software Architect for Siemens. I am an architect in a project under the Siemens product named TIA Portal. The TIA Portal is the new engineering software platform for Industry Automation, Building Technology and Drive Technology. Before starting as an architect, I worked for 8 years as a lead developer and managed different sized (3-20) software development and IT-infrastructure teams.
My primary specialty is designing and implementing application and component architectures for large scale teams while maintaining a strong focus on customer value, overall quality, development speed and manageability.
In addition to being an expert in C# and most of .NET related technologies, I am also keeping up in other modern languages and frameworks.
As a passionate and active member of open source community, I have participated in many open source projects. Some open source projects under my leadership became very popular and de facto standards in their application areas.
After having tumble experience in working with classical waterfall an V processes variants, from the start, I have been one of the active followers of Lean transformation and the introduction of Lean PLM at AS. I am one of the Agile Manifesto translators and former Agile Alliance member.
